Bargain Shopping

In a recession people usually do without certain things. But people don't have to do without but rather just not live beyond their means. In a recession the bargains are out there, you just have to know where to look and do your homework.
There are bargains online if you look!
Dollar Stores do have bargains but you need to know where to look, otherwise you may spend more on products than other stores. I buy toothpaste, cleaning products, aspirin and a few other things.
In the United States we never try to negotiate a marked price. Perhaps we should learn how and when to haggle a price or a deal!
Why am I still paying for toothpaste and other things?
Sometimes it pays to comparison shop for deals that may be of interest.
With all this hype over selling your gold and jewelery, people are getting outrageous deals on those items alone. My personal advice is to buy gold, not sell it. The money you save on items through coupons, deals, or haggling should be put in a savings. I know this is easier said than done, but at least try!
